FUJIFILM was founded in 1934. Its predecessor was Dainippon Plastics' "Film Laboratory". In 1919, he began to study the technology of manufacturing film. In 1922, he began researching photosensitive emulsions. In 1925, while accumulating management know-how in the photographic industry, he established the "Film Experimental Laboratory" and officially began research and manufacturing of film. Led by the American company Kodak, the world's photographic industry has adopted a conservative approach to technology. Since its establishment, Fujifilm has had to independently update and develop technology. This independent technological nature has cultivated Fujifilm today.
